I began Redecorating Joy to bring a caring, professional alternative to those who needed help but felt they could not afford a designer look in their home. Most people have beautiful things, they just need help pulling it all together. By applying proven principles of interior design (and our very own 'tricks of the trade'), we use what they have to quickly and inexpensively transform their home. It is amazing how just repositioning the furniture, or editing and rearranging the accessories can dramatically improve one's living space!
I never get tired of hearing satisfied clients say, "I never would have thought of that!"

Decorating should be fun! People tend to be intimidated when it comes to decorating. There can be so many choices to make, and each one is a chance to make a costly mistake. It is my job to take the expensive 'trial & error' guesswork out of decorating. I enjoy helping people turn their ordinary furnishings into an extraordinary home! I am very lucky to be able to help them do that!

Joy personally trained with Lauri Ward, the founder of the one-day decorating industry and best selling author, and is a Certified Gold Member of the Interior Redecorators Network. Joy also served on the board of directors for the Interior Redecorators Network, the globally recognized preeminent professional organization of one-day decorators.
Joy is industry certified in color selection, fabric selection, window treatments and lighting design. She enjoys keeping current in the interior design field through continuing education, interior design classes, professional seminars, industry certification classes and independent research, thereby earning her the Certified Gold Member status in the Interior Redecorators Network.
Redecorating Joy serves all of Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean Counties. (Additional areas upon request)
